I just got a new website and I am now too wired to sleep. I should sleep, as it is 1:31 am already. I should get up early tomorrow to work on my transcription of Mozart's Exsultante Jubilate. I am transcribing it for string trio with the soprano. It is taking a while because I have to enter all of the notes into Finale, and my Finale skills are rusty.
I taught 9 piano kids today, from 3:30-8pm. Well, actually 8 kids and one adult. One of the kids (around age 6) asked me (randomly) what my daughter's name is and how old she is. Here's how our conversation went:
kid: What is your daughter's name and how old is she?
me: I don't have a daughter. I actually don't have any kids.
kid: You don't have any kids???!?!?!?!?!
me: Well... I am only 24 years old...
kid: So now you will have to get a kid from your stomach?
me: Maybe. Let's try the next song in your book...
Precious. Apparently stomachs have an unlimited amount of kids that they are ready to dish out when you give the say-so.
Teaching piano and violin has made my piano and violin skills improve, but I still wish I had viola students. Anyone want to learn how to play the viola?
I highly approve of the title! I bet you can guess who this is :-)
ReplyDeleteI thought you might like that :) And yes, I can identify your identity... your username helps out with that too :)
